Oren has an unnamed sister who's in the Healers Quadrant, that told him how frequently Violet's bones snap due to her chronic illness. This, coupled with his friendship with Jack, leads Oren to believe that Violet is a liability to the wing that needs to be eliminated.[1]
Oren is the first person that Violet fought in the challenges. Violet poisoned his breakfast that morning, causing him to have severe nausea and affecting his ability to spar. His main friend group was comprised of Jack and Tynan.
During Threshing, he, along with Jack and Tynan, planned to murder the golden feathertail that they saw at Presentation because they thought that the feathertail would get anyone that bonds with it killed.
Physical Description[]
He was tall and blonde. Violet describes him as a bull when he's sparring, all power and no grace.[1]
