Nyra Voldaren was the rider of the dragon, Malla. Her official rank in the Navarrian military was that of a Lieutenant. She later joined the Revolution.
Biography[]
Nyra joined the Riders Quadrant in 631 AU and bonded a red scorpiontail named Malla.
Fourth Wing[]
By her third year, Nyra was the Senior Wingleader of the Riders Quadrant and the Wingleader of First Wing.[1] Nyra participated in the quorum where Xaden accuses Amber Mavis of breaking the codex, and witnesses her execution.[2]
Iron Flame[]
After graduating, Nyra eventually joins the Revolution. She serves as a lieutenant under Mira Sorrengail. Nyra fought against Venin during the fall of Pavis. There, both her and her dragon were drained by Venin while defending a group of civilians that had taken shelter near the armory, according to Garrick. There was nothing left of either of them.[3]
Physical Description[]
She is a brunette woman with wide shoulders and scarred sneer. Her uniform is modified to have silver spikes on each shoulder that flash in the sunlight. [1] However for Presentation Day her uniform is modified to have golden spikes on each shoulder and sharp as hell.[4]

Lesser Magic[]
As a rider whose dragon is channeling through them, Nyra is capable of performing lesser magic. With this channeling, Nyra is able to do things like locking and unlocking doors without touching them, moving with preternatural speed, manipulate mage lights, and power ink pens. Lesser magic also allows Nyra to place runes.
