Fourth Wing[]
Luca is assigned to Second Squad, Flame Section, Fourth Wing, along with Violet Sorrengail.[1] Throughout classes[1] and the Gauntlet, Luca kept making sassy comments about the other cadets, including Pryor and Sawyer Henrick.[2]
During Presentation, she belittled Violet, who she thought would be eaten by the two greens that approached her. Before she could finish calling Violet weak, and Pryor an unsuitable rider, she got burned to death by one of the dragons.[3]
Physical Description[]
Luca was one of the few women in the quadrant who didn't cut her hair.[1] She sometimes kept her hair in a loose braid to keep it out of the way.[2] She had long brown hair. She had kohl-rimmed eyes.[1]
Personality[]
Luca was known for making catty remarks about other cadets, mocking others, and complaining about the smallest inconveniences. Violet envied her confidence, although she saw her as insufferable for her poor attitude, to the point where she would do anything to avoid her.[1] It's Luca's constant need to tear everyone else down that keeps her from making friends within her squad.[3]
