King Tauri is the current ruler of the Kingdom of Navarre.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
King Tauri has three sons: Halden,[1] Alic,[2] and Cam.[3]
In 627 AU, the province of Tyrrendor attempted to secede from Navarre.[4] Before Fen Riorson, leader of the rebellion, was executed, he accused the king, and all those who came before him, of an unspeakable conspiracy.[5]
Fourth Wing[]
King Tauri celebrates Reunificiation Day at Basgiath on July 1. He compliments Violet Sorrengail on bonding two dragons. He comments that Duke Lindell, who fostered Liam Mairi after the Apostasy is a good man, a loyal man.[6]
Physical Description[]
He has a wide, toothy smile and a mustache.[6] He has green eyes like all three of his sons.[3]
He is only seen one time in Fourth Wing, during the Reunification Day celebration at Basgiath War College. For the celebration he wore a purple sash across his doublet with a dozen medals pinned to his chest despite never setting foot on the battlefield.[6]
Personality[]
He exudes an air of unearned superiority.[6] He is arrogant.[3]
Relationships[]
Halden Tauri[]
King Tauri's eldest son. He is the current heir to the throne of Navarre.[7]
Alic Tauri[]
King Tauri's middle son, Alic, joined the Riders Quadrant but died during his Threshing[8] at the hands of Xaden Riorson.[7]
Cam Tauri / Aaric Greycastle[]
King Tauri's youngest son, Cam joins the Riders Quadrant, under the fake name, Aaric Graycastle.[3] His father thinks he is on his 20th birthday tour, drinking and fucking his way across the kingdom.[9] Cam noticed when his guards started carrying alloyed daggers and figured out there was a threat Navarre was hiding, so he slipped away from his guards and hopes his father will not find out until after Threshing because "dragons don't even answer to kings."[9] At the Battle of Basgiath, General Lilith Sorrengail recognizes Cam and tells him his father has been looking for him.[10] He is currently second-in-line to the throne of Navarre.[7]
