Violet Sorrengail's unnamed father was a scribe and husband to Lilith Sorrengail.[1]
Biography[]
After marrying Lilith Sorrengail, he became the father to Brennan, Mira, and Violet Sorrengail.[1]
Violet's father worked as a scribe in the Archives while his wife, Lilith Sorrengail was stationed at Basgiath War College as an instructor. He raised his daughter, Violet, in the library.[1] He began a research project about the second Krovlan uprising, which mentioned feathertail dragons, that has been mentioned by various characters. However, the research has been missing since his death.[2]
Shortly after his son Brennan's death in 628 AU, her father began to suffer from chest pains, which resulted in his untimely death more than a year prior to the events of Fourth Wing.[1]
Physical Description[]
Violet believes that Brennan looks like their father, and mirrors some of his facial expressions such as his nose. Brennan has brownish-red curly hair.
Personality[]
Violet mentions that he was reclusive, and became more reclusive after Brennan's death. She only really got to spend time with him because she was always in the Archives.[3]
