Dyre is one of the healers in Violet's first land navigation exercise. He is acknowledged as the best in his year.[1]
When Baide surprises the group on land navigation, Dyre stares straight at her, his mouth agape. Violet grabs the strap of his pack and yanks him behind the riders.[1] He later tells Violet that he is at her service for anything she needs because he owes her a life debt.[2]
When Aaric Graycastle's hands are blistered after the Archives' heist, Violet sends Rhiannon Matthias to the Healer Quadrant to ask for Dyre. She believes that he will keep quiet if they call in the life debt he owes her.[3]

Dyre is one of the smaller healers with olive skin.[1]
Personality[]
Violet describes Dyre as sweet, though after she saves his life he tends to be "underfoot" alluding to the fact that he's annoyingly attached to her.[2]
