Cygnisen is the northernmost province in Poromiel. The demonym is Cygni.
Geography[]
Cygnisen is located in the north of Poromiel and is bordered by Braevick to the southeast. It is also bordered by the Emerald Sea to the north and the Navarrian provinces of Morraine and Elsum to the west of the Tage Mountains. Pelham is a nearby Navarrian outpost along the Cygni border.[1] The Cygnis Forest contains poisonous flowers.[2]
History[]
There have been at least two Cygni incursions, the second of which occurred in 328 AU. The end result of the four-day "temper tantrum" was Cygnisen being absorbed into the kingdom of Poromiel. It still retains it's individual cultural identity to this day.[3]
Trivia[]
- Rhiannon Matthias is from a village on the Cygnisen border, where self-defense is taught from a young age. The village’s folklore, influenced by the Migration of The First Year, originates from across the border and has been preserved solely through oral tradition.[3][4]
