Biography[]
At one point in her life, she made protection runes for the 107 children aged under 20, the leaders of the Tyrrish Rebellion had. The runes she made could only be used once and were designed to protect a member of the same bloodline, thus ensuring the children's protection after their parents death.[1]
She was a leader of the Tyrrish Rebellion.[2] After the Rebellion failed, she was tracked down and captured by General Lilith Sorrengail, who brought her to her execution.[3] Colonel Mairi was later executed for her involvement in the Rebellion, during the Calldyr executions. Her name was included in the death roll of the Calldyr executions and her son Liam Mairi was named in it as witness.[2] Her daughter Sloane Mairi was also a witness, being forced to watch her execution like her brother by General Sorrengail.[3] Colonel Mairi died by burning via dragon fire, which is the primary execution method for traitors in Navarre.[1]

She was skilled in making complicated runes. She was the last person alive that knew how to make special protection runes, which were bound to a family's bloodline and only activated when the eligible person was killed or died by dragon fire.
