Baylor is first introduced during a sparring match against a fellow first year, Mischa Levin. She easily defeats him. At Threshing, Baylor bonds an unnamed dragon.[2] He joins the Rebellion along with half the Riders Quadrant[3] and fights alongside his squad during the Battle of Basgiath. Baylor, along with Lynx, guards the Basgiath wardstone during the battle and dives aside as Violet runs through to raise the wards.[4]
Physical Description[]
Baylor is a muscular, stocky guy with nervous eyes.[1] He has skull-trimmed black hair.[5]

He's loud and boisterous and seems to get along well with Aaric.[5]

Lesser Magic[]
As a rider whose dragon is channeling through them, Baylor is capable of performing lesser magic. With this channeling, Baylor is able to do things like locking and unlocking doors without touching them, moving with preternatural speed, manipulate mage lights, and power ink pens. Lesser magic also allows Baylor to place runes.
