Before you continue reading, maybe you should read the excerpt first if you already haven't.
Firstly... it's officially Violet's second year at BWC. (*in sarcastic voice*) And what better to kick it off, than with a speech from the one and only, Dain Aetos? We're probably not even one chapter into the book, and we already have to listen to this guy.
Secondly, Sloane Mairi. Oh my god, Liam's little sister. I'm freaking out. It takes me back to the end of Fourth Wing when Liam asks Violet to look out for his sister (*cries*).
Finally, we also see a few new characters. Most notably, Solas, because he burns the runners (as well as a few other cadets) to a crisp. I'm excited to discover who these new characters are and their role in Iron Flame.
