Can you explain or just make no sense

One of the bigger plot holes is why the first rebellion happened, in my opinion. Also why, if Venin can chanel enough to survive, do Wyvern die inside the wards?

The first rebellion happened becuase the people who did it figured out what got figured out in Iron Flame/the end of Fourth Wing and it seems like the wyvern cant cross the wardline and could possibly die within the wards

The wyvern don't die inside the wards, they just, lets say, become unconscious. The wards just render them useless and when the wards falter they come back again, so have been seen when Mira and Violet goes to inspect the carcass after returning from Athebyne.

Huh. I didn’t notice that when reading the books.

I think the wards are supposed to weaken the wyvern enough that a dragon rider or another person can come up and plainly kill it with not a lot of effort.
